Nurul Islam Babul

Nurul Islam Babul (3 May 1946 – 13 July 2020) was a Bangladeshi businessman.^[1] He was the chairman of the business conglomerate Jamuna Group.^[2] He was born in the Noakhali District in Bangladesh. He was arrested two times, one for murder and the second for possible tax evasion.^[3]

Babul died on 13 July 2020 after being hospitalized in Dhaka for COVID-19, aged 74.^[4]
