Nyctimystes dux

Nyctimystes dux is a tree frog from Papua New Guinea. Scientists have only seen it near Yuwong Village on the Huon Peninsula. Different scientists disagree about whether this frog should be in the genus Litoria or Nyctimystes.[1][2]

This frog has red eyes and pads, called nuptial pads, on its front feet.[2]

Some scientists think that Nyctimystes dux is a separate species. Other scientists think it is the same species as Litoria graminea.[3]
