On'yomi

reading of kanji in the Japanese language using morphemes borrowed from Chinese (as opposed to kun'yomi, readings using native Japanese morphemes)

On'nyomi are Japanese reading of a Kanji. The On'yomi readings originated in China. On'yomi along with Kun’yomi are important readings when it comes to learning kanji and reading words in Japanese.[1]
