The OUGRI is an annual cultural and technical festival organized by the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Manipur.[1][2][3] Its name is derived from the ancient cultural dance and music performance, Ougri of the Lai Haraoba festival.

It is an annual cultural and technical festival organized by the institute.

There are many events organized in the festival, which includes sports, battle of bands, modern dance and cultural dance, DJ-night, mock placement, men soccer and LAN gaming in the NIT Manipur campus, Takyelpat.[3] The bands that participate in the battle of bands in the year 2015 include Agro, Freedom Band, Karima Band, MIT, Dominik, Abundant Life, Virgo Diamond, Riverted, Meitrabak and Electrify.[3]
