Out of the Box is an American television series that premiered on Playhouse Disney in 1998. The show starts with the people who are hosting "The Box" a playhouse made of cardboard. The hosts are Tony James and Vivian B. McLaughlin, they sing songs, craft things and act out of plays. The series is created by Douglas Love and Ellen G. Kent, even the two episodes were released on DVD and VHS and Out of the Box has a Christmas and Halloween DVD. The series was based on Douglas Love's books from HarperCollins, the series won three awards from "Parents Choice".
