Outrage (emotion)

Outrage is a strong emotion made up of surprise, disgust,[1] and anger.[2] It can be a reaction to something rude.[3] It comes from old French "ultrage" which means ultra.[4]

Moral outrage is the emotion of outrage experienced in reaction to an injustice.[5]
