Pabellón de Arteaga

Pabellón de Arteaga is a city and the main seat of the municipality of the same name. It has a population of 47,646 (2020 INEGI Census) which makes it the third-most populous city in the state, just below Aguascalientes and Jesús María.

It was founded in 1929 as an establishment for construction machinery for the Plutarco Elías Calles Dam, being founded as Colonia Progreso.
