Pandanaceae

Pandanaceae is a family of flowering plants found in the Old World tropical and subtropical regions, from West Africa through the Pacific. It contains five genera and about 900 species of trees, shrubs and root climbers. Most members of the family prefer living in coastal or marshy areas.
