Papaléo Paes

Brazilian politician (1952–2020)

João Bosco Papaléo Paes (August 27, 1952 – June 25, 2020), better known simply as Papaléo Paes, was a Brazilian politician. Paes was born in Belém, Pará.

Paes was Mayor of Macapá from 1993 to 1996. He was a Senator from 2003 to 2011. He was also Vice-Governor of Amapá from 2015 to 2018. He was a member of the Brazilian Social Democracy Party.

Paes died on June 25, 2020 from COVID-19 in Macapá, aged 67.[1]
