Pascal Lainé
French writer (1942–2024)
Pascal Lainé (10 May 1942 – 30 December 2024) was a French academic and writer. He wrote over 20 novels. He was born in Anet, Eure-et-Loir, France. He won the Prix Médicis in 1971 for l'Irrévolution and the Goncourt in 1974 for La Dentellière. He also taught at the Lycée Louis-le-Grand in Paris.
Lainé died on 30 December 2024 in Paris at the age of 82.[1]
