Pat Martino
American jazz guitarist and composer
Pat Martino (born Patrick Azzara;[1] August 25, 1944 – November 1, 2021)[2] was an American jazz guitarist and composer.

Martino worked with jazz organists Charles Earland, Richard "Groove" Holmes, Jack McDuff, Don Patterson, Trudy Pitts, Jimmy Smith, Gene Ludwig, and Joey DeFrancesco.
Martino had been performing until a hemorrhage caused a "near-fatal seizure" in 1980 which caused him to lose his memory and how to play instruments.[3][4]
Martino died on November 1, 2021, at the age of 77.[5]
