Patricide

the act of killing one's father

Patricide is the crime of killing one's parents, especially the father.

A case was reported in the Annals of Yorkshire in 1871 of a child in the village of Dore who; after quarreling with his younger brother, whilst mowing the grass, took a swing at his father with his scythe. The father died immediately, and the lad turned himself in..A verdict of manslaughter was returned.[1]
