Pekka Haavisto
Finnish politician and minister for foreign affairs
Pekka Olavi Haavisto (born 23 March 1958) is a Finnish politician. He is a member of the Green League. He was the Minister for Foreign Affairs from 2019 to 2023. He has been a member of the Finnish Parliament since 2007, having served before from 1987 to 1995.

Haavisto ran for President of Finland in 2012, 2018 and 2024. Haavisto became the first openly gay candidate to run for the presidency of Finland.[1]
