Perpetuum mobile

type of musical composition involving a continuous stream of notes and (often indefinite) repetition

Perpetuum mobile means, two different things in music. One is a kind of piece of music, which is usually played in a fast tempo, and which consists of many short notes. The other is a piece of music that is played over and over.
