Peter Lorimer
Scottish footballer, closely associated with the Leeds United football club (1946–2021)
Peter Patrick Lorimer (14 December 1946 – 20 March 2021) was a Scottish footballer. He played for Leeds United making over 500 appearances between 1962 to 1979 and again from 1983 to 1985. He also appeared 21 times for Scotland from 1969 to 1976. He was an attacking midfielder.[2]

On 26 February 2021, it was announced that Lorimer was put under hospice care because of a long illness.[3][4] He died a month later on 20 March 2021, aged 74.[5]
