Peter Murphy (musician)
English rock vocalist
Peter John Joseph Murphy (born 11 July 1957) is an English singer-songwriter, and musician.[2] He was the vocalist of the goth rock band Bauhaus. His best known albums were Love Hysteria, Deep, and Holy Smoke. He is known as the Godfather of Goth".[3][4]

In August 2019, Murphy was hospitalized for a heart attack in New York City.[5]
