Phil Maloney
Canadian ice hockey player (1927–2020)
Philip Francis Anthony Maloney (October 6, 1927 – February 21, 2020) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player and coach. He played as a centre. He played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Chicago Blackhawks and Boston Bruins. He was the head coach of NHL team Vancouver Canucks from 1974 to 1977.
Maloney was born in Ottawa, Ontario. He died on February 21, 2020, at the age of 92.[1]
