Pierre Bergé
French industrialist and patron (1930–2017)
Pierre Bergé (French pronunciation: [pjɛːʁ bɛʁʒe]; 14 November 1930 – 8 September 2017) was a French industrialist and patron. He was the co-founder of Yves Saint Laurent Couture House and onetime life partner and longtime business partner of the late fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent.

Bergé was recognized with the Order of Orange-Nassau, Officer of the Ordre National du Mérite, Commandeur des Arts et des Lettres, and Legion of Honor.
Bergé died of myopathy on 8 September 2017, in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, at the age of 86.[1]
