Political lesbianism

movement in lesbian feminism

Political lesbianism is an event in feminism, mainly second-wave feminism and radical feminism. Political lesbianism supports the idea that sexual orientation is a political and feminist choice, and supports lesbianism as a positive replacement to heterosexuality for women[1] as part of the struggle against sexism.[2]
