Provisional Government of National Unity

The Provisional Government of National Unity, was the land government in Soviet occupied Poland. World War II ended the an Allied victory. And two of those allies was the Soviet Union and the Provisional Government of the Republic of Poland. In June 1945, the provisional government of national unity was formed. The provisional government was a Communist government in opposition to the London based Polish government-in-exile. The provisional government was an original member of the United Nations (an organisation created for World peace). The Polish People's Republic was formed in 1947, two years after World War II.
