Punathil Kunjabdulla

Punathil Kunjabdulla (1940 – 27 October 2017) was a well-known Indian Malayalam language novelist and poet from Kerala state, South India. He was a medical doctor by profession. Kunjabdulla was a modernist in Malayalam literature.[1][2] His novel Smarakasilakal (Memorial Stones) won the Kendra Sahithya Academy Award (Malayalam) in 1980.[3]

Kunjabdulla died at the age of 75 on 27 October 2017 of bladder cancer.[4]
