Putre
city in northern Chile
Putre (loud river in Aymara) is a city in Chile. It is the capital of the province of Parinacota, in the region of Arica and Parinacota, in the north of Chile. The city was founded in December 30, 1927, and in 1979, the old town called Belén was appended to Putre.
