Puttur is a town in India. It is in the Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka state. It is 52 km away from the district headquarters, Mangalore. People there speak Tulu and Kannada. This place consist of many notable visiting spots like Shri Mahathobara Mahalingeshwara Temple, Shri Panchamukhi Hanuman Temple Hanumagiri, Viramada mane water park, Camco chocolate factory , etc. This place is famous for its heritage and monuments . Puttur has Karnataka's 2nd largest Bus stand.
