Rahat Indori
Indian Bollywood lyricist and Urdu poet
Rahat Indori, born Rahat Qureshi (1 January 1950 – 11 August 2020) was an Indian Bollywood lyricist and Urdu poet.[1] He was also a former professor of Urdu language and a painter.[2] He was a language professor at Devi Ahilya University, Indore. As a movie score composer, his best known works were Khuddar, Mission Kashmir and Meenaxi: A Tale of Three Cities. Indori was born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Indori died on 11 August 2020 at a hospital in Indore from COVID-19, aged 70.[3] He was tested positive for the infection the night before.[4]
