Ralph McGehee

college football player who became a CIA agent and whistle blower (1928–2020)

Ralph Walter McGehee (April 9, 1928 – May 2, 2020) was an American intelligence official. He worked for 25 years in American intelligence, being a former case officer of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). From 1953 to 1972, his assignments were in East Asia and Southeast Asia. After leaving the CIA, he published books and became a critic of the agency. McGehee was born in Moline, Illinois.

McGehee died on May 2, 2020 of COVID-19 in Falmouth, Maine at the age of 92.[1]
