Ramsewak Shankar
4th President of Suriname
Ramsewak Shankar (born November 6, 1937) is a Surinamese politician. He was the 4th President of Suriname from 1988 to 1990.[2] His government was overthrown by Dési Bouterse leading a bloodless military coup. Shankar was Agriculture & Fisheries Minister from 1969 to 1971.
