Rana Punja

Rana Punja Bhil or Poonja, was a tribal leader belonging to the Solanki Rajput clan of Bhomat. He was born at Merpur in the Mewar region to Dunha Holika. His father died when Punja was 15 and he was appointed head of Merpur. Soon after he became king of Bhomat.
