Reccared I
Visigothic King
Reccared I (or Recared; Latin: Flavius Reccaredus; Spanish: Flavio Recaredo; c. 559 – December 601; reigned 586–601) was Visigothic King of Hispania and Septimania. He converted from Arianism to Chalcedonian Christianity in 587. He died of natural causes in Toledo. He was married to Baddo. When Reccared I died his son Liuva II took over power.
