Red Sullivan

Canadian ice hockey player

George James "Red" Sullivan (December 24, 1929 – January 19, 2019) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He played in the National Hockey League (NHL) from 1949 to 1961. He was born in Peterborough, Ontario. Sullivan played for Boston Bruins, Chicago Black Hawks and New York Rangers.

He also coached the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Sullivan died on January 19, 2019 in Peterborough from Alzheimer's disease at the age of 89.[1]
