History
changeJio started on 27 December 2015. Jio’s rollout started with an extended trial phase that offered free voice calls and data. By September 2016, Jio's full commercial operations began, introducing free voice calls and low-cost data plans. This pricing structure forced competitors to lower their rates and accelerated internet adoption across India.[2]
