Renée Claude
Canadian actress and singer (1939–2020)
Renée Claude CM (July 3, 1939 – May 12, 2020) was a Canadian actress and pop singer. She was born in Montreal, Quebec.[1] She was best known for singing translated songs by Stéphane Venne, Michel Conte, Georges Brassens and Léo Ferré.[1] An actress, she starred in It's Your Turn, Laura Cadieux, Avec un grand A and in He Shoots, He Scores.
In 2019, Claude was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.[2] She died of COVID-19 in Montreal on May 12, 2020 at the age of 80.[3]
