Rita Reys

Dutch jazz singer (1924-2013)

Rita Reys (21 December 1924 – 28 July 2013) was a jazz singer from the Netherlands. In 1960, she was given the title "Europe's first lady of jazz".[1] She sang jazz and bossa nova.[2]

Reys was born in Rotterdam. She died in Breukelen at age eighty-eight.[3]
