Robert Wells (Canadian politician)

Canadian politician (1933-2020)

Robert Wells QC (August 28, 1933 – October 28, 2020)[1] was a Canadian lawyer and politician. He represented St. John's South from 1972 to 1975 and Kilbride from 1975 to 1979 in the Newfoundland House of Assembly. He sat on the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador from 1986 to 2008.

Wells was born in Badger's Quay, Newfoundland and Labrador. He was a member of the Progressive Conservative Party. Wells died on October 28, 2020 at a hospital in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. He was 87.[2]
