Ron Perlman (born April 13, 1950) is an American actor. He is best known for his work as Hellboy in Hellboy and in Hellboy II: The Golden Army. He won a Golden Globe Award in 1988 for his role as Vincent in Beauty and the Beast (1987–1990). He was born in New York City, New York.[1] and studied at the University of Minnesota. He has been married to Opal Perlamn since 1981. They have two children.
