Rosalie Kunoth-Monks

Aboriginal Australian actress and activist

Rosalie Kunoth-Monks OAM (1937 – 26 January 2022), also known as Ngarla Kunoth, was an Australian actress, Aboriginal activist and politician.[1] She was known for her lead role in the 1955 movie Jedda. She unsuccessfully ran for the Australian Senate in 2013 as a member of the First Nations Political Party.[2]
