American actor (1950–2020)

Roscoe Conklin Born (November 24, 1950 – March 3, 2020) was an American actor and songwriter. He was best known for his roles on many television soap operas, mainly as villain Mitch Laurence on One Life to Live in six appearances between 1985 and 2012. Born was born in Topeka, Kansas.[1][2] In 1990, Born earned nominations for a Daytime Emmy[3][4] and Soap Opera Digest award.[5] He also starred in Santa Barbara and The Young and the Restless.

Born killed himself on March 3, 2020, at the age of 69.[6][7]
