Rothera Research Station
British Antarctic Survey base on the Antarctic Peninsula

Rothera is a research station in Antarctica. It is located at Rothera point on Adelaide Island. In summer, there are about 130 scientists, in winter, there are 22. The station has a small airport, with a runway of 900 metres (3,000 ft).
