Rune Gerhardsen
Norwegian politician and sports leader (1946-2021)
Rune Gerhardsen (13 June 1946 – 4 September 2021) was a Norwegian Labour politician. He was born in Oslo, Norway.

He was the Chair of the Norwegian Skating Association three times between 1986 until 1990, 2001 until 2003 and 2013 until 2017. From 1992 until 1997, Gerhardsen was Mayor of Oslo. From 1973 until 1975, he was Leader of the Workers' Youth League.
Gerhardsen died on 4 September 2021 in Oslo at the age of 75.[1]
