Australian-American business magnate (born 1931)

Rupert Keith Murdoch (born March 11, 1931) is an Australian-American media owner. He became managing director for Australia-based network News Limited after his father Keith died.[3] He is founder, Chairman and chief executive officer of global media network News Corporation (the world's second largest media group).[4][5] His mother Elisabeth Murdoch died on December 5, 2012.
