Ruth Dreifuss

member of the Swiss Federal Council

Ruth Dreifuss (born 9 January 1940) is a Swiss politician. She was a member of the Swiss Federal Council from (1993–2002), representing the Canton of Geneva. In 1970 she received a Master of Economics from the University of Geneva. She was a member of the Social Democratic Party.
