Ruy Ohtake

Brazilian architect

Ruy Ohtake (27 January 1938 — 27 November 2021) was a Brazilian architect. He was the son of artist Tomie Ohtake. He was known for designing the Brazilian Embassy in Tokyo and the São Paulo Pavilion at the Expo '90. Ohtake was born in São Paulo, Brazil.

Ohtake died on 27 November 2021, in São Paulo from myelodysplastic syndrome at the age of 83.[1]
