Saane/Sarine

The Sarine or Saane is a river in Switzerland.[1] It is 128 km (80 mi) long and has a drainage area of 1,892 km2 (731 sq mi). It is a tributary of the river Aare.

The Sarine rises in the Bernese Alps, near Sanetschhorn, in the Canton of Valais.
It flows through the Swiss cantons of Bern, Fribourg, Valais, and Vaud.
