Sahaba

companion, disciple, scribe or family member of the Islamic prophet Muhammad

Sahaba or As-Sahaba (Arabic: الصحابة), meaning the companions, refers to the companions, friends and family of the Islamic prophet, Muhammad.[1][2] They are highly respected by Muslims and after saying any name of a sahabi, muslims usually say Radhiya llahu anhu (Arabic: رضي الله عنه‎), meaning "well-pleased is Allah with them".[3]
