Samane Viyaket
General President of the National Assembly of Laos
Lieutenant General Samane Viyaket (3 March 1927 – 22 July 2016) was a Laotian national politician. He was the President of the National Assembly of Laos[1] from 1993 to 2006.[2]

He was born in Phichit Province, Siam. He was in charge of ideological and cultural works of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP).[3]
He died on 22 July 2016 at the age of 89.[4]
