Satoshi Ōmura
Japanese biochemist (1935 - )
Satoshi Ōmura [satoɕi oːmu͍ɽa] (大村 智, Ōmura Satoshi, born 12 July 1935) is a Japanese biochemist. He is known for the discovery and development of many pharmaceuticals. In 2015, he won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine with William C. Campbell and Tu Youyou.[1]
