Sclera
white part of an eye, commonly called the "white of the eye"
The sclera is the white part of the eye. Unlike most animals’ eyes, the human eye’s sclera is pale. This makes it easier for us to see where other people are looking. For most mammals, the sclera is the same color as the iris.
