Shuja'iyya ambush

2023 military engagement in the Gaza Strip

On December 13, 2023, during the Israeli invasion of Gaza, Hamas fighters did a surprise attack on Israeli soldiers in Shuja'iyya. The attack resulted in the deaths of 10 Israeli soldiers and the Hamas fighters escaped without any loss.
