Simeon Eben Baldwin

American judge (1840–1927)

Simeon Eben Baldwin was an American Democratic Party politician who served as governor of Connecticut from 1911 to 1915. During his time as governor, he presided over a number of social reforms such as the establishment of a Public Utilities Commission, the passage of a Corrupt Practices Act,[1] and the introduction of various labor laws.[2]
