Singleton is a town on the banks of the Hunter River, New South Wales, Australia. Singleton is 144 km (89 mi) northwest of Sydney and 70 km (43 mi) northwest of Newcastle.[1] According to the 2016 Australian census, the estimated population number of the town was 13,214 people in the urban centres and localities.[2]

changeSingleton railway station is a railway station on the Scone branch of the Hunter Line. There are six services to Newcastle on weekdays and four on weekends and public holidays. There are three services to Scone with one additional service to Muswellbrook on weekdays and two all to Scone on weekends and public holidays.[3]
