Ski boots
specialized footwear that are used in skiing to provide a way to attach the skier to skis
Ski boots are boots people wear when skiing.[1] They cover the ankle and are rigid.[2] Ski boots are connected to skis by ski bindings.[2] They are made from synthetic materials. Ski boots keep the feet of skiers warm.[1]
Before the 1900s, people used normal boots for skiing. The first boots for skiing were made by military people fighting in the Russo-Finnish War.[1]
The front of Nordic ski boots connect to the ski at the toes.[1]
